press and performances
It’s been a busy month with a few too many things to say in one blurb… but here goes anyway.
PRESS:

I did a studio show&tell and performance + provided artwork for issue #3 of Icelandic art/culture magazine Rafskinna. They’re still uploading content from the new issue onto their site. Until then you can watch the trailer here.
The magazine is pretty amazing. Its large format with lots of loose goodies tucked inside. The last issue had 3-D glasses, a poster, seeds…for planting, trading cards, a DVD and some other stuff. pretty crazy.

- Did an interview and provided some schematic artwork for issue #5 of French tech culture magazine Amusement.
- Just did an in depth interview for UK’s Wired magazine. I’m not sure when that will go to print. I’ll post when it does.
- Spent a long day last week with a film crew producing a bit for Scion’s online magazine. They meticulously documented each step of the modification of a megaphone followed by a short performance. It was lots of fun and I think will look super slick and awesome. The whole bit is intended to accent an interview Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo.
- Met with Jessica Pasko from albany-centric Blog http://alloveralbany.com to talk about casperelectronics and casper land. Read the post here.
PERFORMANCES:
- Performance and workshop at the The Future of Sound concert series. Long Beach State, California. October 10th. More info will be posted on this as it becomes available.
- Performance, presentation and workshop at the Electro Music Festival. Bloomingdale, New Jersey. October 29th-31st. Schedules, directions, lodging info etc available here.

Sounds busy! is Rafskinna available in the states? i saw one in a shop in Reykjavik and didn’t really know what it was but it looked really cool!
I wish i could make it to NYC for the show with ghostigital & Finnbogi. he’s a pretty awesome guy.

I think Raskinna IS available in the states at a few places, but you’re better off just ordering it from them. Maybe they have a list on their site of where it’s sold.
Unfortunatly the set in NY will be really short (10-15 mins) but Curver is thinking of doing some recordings and ghostigital-izing.. so maybe you’ll be able to experience it later.
