“White Light” art opening.
I’m showing a new sculpture/installation at RPI’s West Hall Gallery on friday

“White Light” incorporates hand built audio electronics and a pulsing light display to create an interactive and immersive audio visual experience. The piece invites individual as well as group interaction to control each of it’s three voices and light displays. Only one voice may be accessed by a single person at one time. Combining voices requires additional participants. The total sound and light display is effected by each participant, thereby challenging each to communicate with the greater voice of the group. White Light is equal parts installation, musical interface and social experiment.
