Casio-SA2

    casperelectronics Casio SA-2
The Casio SA-2 is a very simple piece. As far as bends and glitches go, there’s really only one type of glitch that can be achieved. This glitch produces random patterns, drums beats, tempo distortion, and a variety of other strange effects.

Hey! I just installed the output succesfully but I didn’t bother to proceed with the ghazala bend as I’m looking for somewhat different results and hoping to find them. More specifically I would love to find a tempo-adjustment and maybe somekind of overdrive on this thing… Any thoughts except for the mega-complicated and expensive components needed schemes I found before?? Cheers anyone!

@tom. In order to change the tempo you will need new crystals or a high frequency oscillator. Ive never done this myself but I know getlofi.com sells an oscillator for this kind of thing.

I have this Casio KA-2 that seems similar enough to the SA and SA-2. Almost all google searches send me to more SA-2’s. Anyone more familiar with the KA-2, it’s red, but identical on the outside otherwise. This will be my 2nd bend, the 1st being pretty basic, just pots and shorts. Now that i’ve learned up a bit i’m ready to make something impressive. Lovin this site! Where were you on my 1st bend?
