Speak ‘n Spell

The Speak&Spell has become an very popular circuit bending target. There are several reasons, but two of the primary ones are that
A) it utilizes sophisticated speech generating circuitry which can be modified to create VERY bizarre effects.
B) The S&S was extremely popular in the 70s and early 80s. Many people have developed personal relationships with this device. This creates an extreme contrast between the bizarre effects that emerge through bending and the ingrained understanding and expectation of the device that one developed as a child.

    loving your work! i guess you get asked this all the time..how much would it cost purchase a premodified circuit bent speak n spell from your good self?
