Hey Oliver,
connecting to ground means connecting to your negative power supply. Wire a pushbutton between the point shown in the image above to the negative power supply. That’s the BLACK wire coming from the battery compartment. This will give you a good glitch!
hi, today i got a cheap a vtech apple and had a good tinker for 30 mins before i heard a crackle and it ceased to live again…ive swapped batteries and still no sounds. any idea what’s happened and if i can fix it…. could be the speaker, but it didnt make any loud crackle as such.
@Lokirat had the same thing happen on this thing. You need to run out and get a fuse(What sort of toy has a fuse). I tried just putting a wire over the offending part, but the batteries heated up like hell

If you want the pitch, you can find it on the C5 with a ltc-1799 prcision osc.
